Principal Chemist Grace Lajwe Passes Away After Tragic Domestic Accident

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development is mourning the untimely death of its Principal Chemist, Ms. Grace Lajwe, who passed away earlier today under tragic circumstances. According to family members and close friends, Ms. Lajwe reportedly slipped and fell in the bathroom of her residence in Mukono District. The accident occurred in the early hours of the morning, leaving the household in shock and disbelief.

A Loss to the Energy Sector

Ms. Lajwe had served the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development with distinction. As Principal Chemist, her role was instrumental in shaping the country’s energy policies and initiatives, particularly in the areas of resource management and sustainability. Her contributions to the sector over the years earned her respect from both colleagues and stakeholders.
