City preacher Pastor Bugingo Aloysius has spent over ten years soliciting funds from his congregation and well-wishers for the construction of his church dubbed “Pentagon.”
However, it has never seen the light of day.
During a sermon this week, Pastor Bugingo of House of Prayer Ministries International informed his congregation that they are still far from achieving their long-awaited construction of the “Pentagon” church due to a lack of funds.
The controversial pastor admitted that they are not financially ready to even begin the foundation.
“It’s impossible to lay the foundation with less than a tenth of the required budget. Contractors demand a 30% deposit, which amounts to 30 billion. Unfortunately, we have not even raised 7 billion, which isn’t enough to bring materials to the site,” he explained.
Pastor Bugingo says the budget for the construction of the church is 120 billion Ugandan shillings, but they need 30 billion to start off the construction. However, he hasn’t even raised 7 billion from churchgoers and well-wishers.
