Singer Azawi has expressed dissatisfaction with the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) under the leadership of President Eddy Kenzo.
Azawi criticized the distribution of the Federation SACCO funds, highlighting that established artists received the largest sums and are not required to repay these amounts. In contrast, struggling artists are the ones who have to borrow and repay the funds. Azawi’s frustration underscores concerns about fairness and support within the music industry for emerging artists .
