The Minister made the announcement during her appearance before Parliament’s Health Committee. She clarified that the sum of Shs5Bn is needed for the functionalization of the Human Organ Transplant Council. Out of this amount, Shs3.6Bn will be allocated for training and benchmarking purposes, while Shs1.4Bn will be utilized for the operations of the Council.
