Kabalega International Airport, formerly known as Kabaale International Airport, is currently in the final stages of its construction, with the runway work being reported as 98% complete. The airport is situated in Hoima district, Uganda, and its civil works commenced on April 18, 2018. This airport project is of significant importance, with a total estimated cost of $309 million. Once completed, it is expected to enhance the transportation infrastructure in the region and contribute to the economic development of Uganda.
