KAMPALA, (UG): The Consumers Choice Awards (CCA), the annual awards organized by Consumers Guide Magazine (CGM) Friday launched the sixth edition of the awards amidst a rallying to consumers and the general public to take part in the voting process in order to recognize brands that serve them best.
The Awards, held annually, recognize business excellence through an independent market survey to determine brand reputation, customer satisfaction, and business excellence to determine the quality of their service, value, integrity and professionalism.
Mr Salim Bari, the Chief Executive Officer and Publisher of Consumer Choice Magazine while launching the awards said the campaign, now its edition, is a true reflection of the “marketplace as it represents the opinion of consumers and buyers across Uganda.”
Our theme for the current edition of the Consumer Choice Awards still is Recognizing Business Excellence,” Mr Bari said during a press conference held on Friday, June 14, at Golf Course Hotel in Kampala.
“Our mission is to honour businesses and individuals who go that extra distance for their customers and also to make sure they get the recognition they so richly deserve,” he added.
According to Mr Bari, the Awards are an additional reference point in consumers’ search for optimal providers for the services or products they desire. He added, in this year’s edition, the Consumers Choice Magazine will continue to gather opinions, perceptions and expectations from hundreds of thousands of consumers from several parts of the country to actively make them involved in choosing their best brands.
