Musician Benie Gunter is still stuck in Dubai and will remain there until his case is heard and resolved.
The singer, who was arrested last month at the airport after making a late appearance at the show, causing partygoers to damage and destroy property worth millions, has been released from prison. However, he is not allowed to leave the United Arab Emirates until his case is heard.
It is reported that the case may go on for almost two years, and during that period, he will not be able to return to Uganda.
Media personality and fellow rapper Ninja C has revealed that Benie Gunter is in urgent need of support and appealed to Ugandans to contribute anything they can for him.
